A recipe site without the mess
Drizzlelemons does one job well: paste a recipe URL and get back a clean card with just the ingredients and steps, no ads, no pop-ups, no autoplay video. It layers on the stuff cooks actually want, like scaling servings, switching between metric and US units, AI-driven diet swaps, and a Cook Mode with big text and a built-in timer for hands-free use. There's also a way to save and organize recipes for later.
Tom, who makes Drizzlelemons under the handle bradd3rs, built it out of frustration more than ambition. As he puts it, the project came from the pure agony of what recipe websites have become, and the lack of a product that worked the way he wanted, so he built his own.
883 claps, 27 people, 31 products
This week's round drew 31 products and 4,118 total claps cast by 27 distinct clappers. Drizzlelemons pulled in 883 of those claps, the top total in the field.
Tom says the hardest part wasn't building the thing, it was getting initial traction against bigger, established players. He believed Drizzlelemons was better, and according to him, people are starting to notice, with growth coming especially by word of mouth. His own account of the win points the same direction: support from his network and from users of the product itself, all rallying around it.
What people are saying
Reviews are still thin, just one so far, but it's a strong one: Joe rated it five stars and called it so useful.
What's next
Tom isn't planning a pivot. His plan is continued support on the product: polish, hardening, and keeping it simple, since he says that simplicity is part of its charm.
“Support from my network and users of the product it's self all rallying around Drizzlelemons”
