TERMS OF SERVICE

Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use CLAPSTORM.
• Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
• One person, one account — don’t create accounts to evade limits or moderation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harassing, or spam.
• Submit a product you don’t have the right to promote, or post links to malware, scams, or content that violates others’ rights.
• Manipulate claps, rankings, reviews, or winners — including via bots, fake accounts, paid voting rings, or automated submissions.
• Disrupt, overload, scrape, or attempt to break the security of the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant CLAPSTORM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and share that content to operate and promote the service. You confirm you have the rights to post it, and you’re responsible for it.

Claps & rankings

Claps are a free engagement signal with no cash or monetary value; they can’t be bought, sold, or redeemed. Each weekly round opens, runs, and closes on a schedule, and we crown winners based on claps. We may adjust, reset, or recalculate balances and rankings to keep the board fair or to fix errors and abuse.

Paid services (optional)

CLAPSTORM may offer optional paid services for makers — for example, submitting your product to third-party directories, or a post-launch report. These are strictly off-board extras:

• They never touch the board. No paid service affects claps, rankings, placement, rounds, or winners — see the fairness pledge. Launching, and the dofollow link every launch gets, stay free for everyone.
• Paid services are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe; the price, what’s included, and the expected delivery window are shown before you buy.
• Where a service includes creating listings or accounts on third-party sites on your behalf, you authorise us to do so using the product details you submitted and an email alias we manage during fulfilment; any credentials we create are handed over to you on completion. Third-party sites decide their own acceptance — we can’t guarantee any particular listing.
• If we can’t deliver a service, we’ll refund it. Once a service has been delivered, purchases are generally non-refundable — if something went wrong, contact us and we’ll be reasonable.

Moderation & termination

We may hide or remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these terms or harm the community — with or without notice. You can stop using CLAPSTORM and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers & liability

CLAPSTORM is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t endorse or vouch for any submitted product or link — use your own judgement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CLAPSTORM is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; we’ll update the date above and give notice of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of CLAPSTORM is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
