WoodBurn

WoodBurn is a digital studio for creating and practicing pyrography designs. It lets users upload existing artwork, generate new patterns with AI, or start from a blank canvas. The simulator provides a virtual pyrography pen with fine, medium, shading, and ball tips that interact with realistic wood grain. Users can trace references stroke by stroke and see how the design looks on virtual basswood. When the design is finished, WoodBurn can export a print‑ready file at the exact dimensions of the virtual board, with faint transfer opacity and tiled PDF options, so the design can be transferred to real wood for burning. The tool is aimed at hobbyists, makers, and artists who want to prototype pyrography work without risking material, and who need a quick way to generate or refine designs before hand‑burning.
