Gbyte Unlock is a desktop utility that removes iPhone screen locks—including 4‑ or 6‑digit passcodes, Face ID, and Touch ID—without needing the original password. The process runs locally on the user’s computer, so no personal data is uploaded to external servers. The tool is aimed at iPhone owners who have forgotten their passcode, are locked out after failed biometric attempts, or need to bypass the "iPhone Unavailable" screen. It works on Windows 7‑11 and macOS (including Apple‑silicon), supports iPhone models from iPhone 6 through iPhone 17, and covers iOS versions 12‑27. Key points highlighted on the site are a lightweight installer (≈50 MB), a Rust‑powered engine for stability, Apple notarization for safety, and compliance with GDPR and CCPA. The interface guides users through three steps—connect the device, download or import the firmware package, and start the removal—requiring no technical expertise.
