API Partner is a lightweight API client that focuses on the API work most teams use: building, sending, testing and sharing requests. It stores collections, environments, scripts and team data encrypted on the device before syncing, and requests are sent directly from the user’s machine. Key features include collections with folders, support for all common auth types, pre‑request and post‑response scripts, variable handling, and import/export of Postman v2.1 collections, cURL commands and OpenAPI specs. Encryption uses XChaCha20‑Poly1305 per workspace, with keys sealed to each team member, ensuring the server never sees request bodies, headers, tokens or workspace names. The product runs as native desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux, and also offers a web app. Team collaboration is supported through role‑based workspace sharing, with sign‑in via email, Google, GitHub, passkeys or MFA. The client works offline, updates itself, and keeps history locally.
