Free FIRE Financial Planner
FinanceA browser‑based planner that models income, expenses, assets, debts and life events month by month, with Monte Carlo backtesting.
by Antoine ValtonFree FIRE Financial Planner lets you model income, expenses, assets, debts and one‑off events such as a house purchase or inheritance on a month‑by‑month basis. It runs entirely in your browser, so no sign‑up, no account and no data is sent to a server. The tool includes U.S. tax calculations for all 50 states, payroll tax and Social Security, and supports nine currencies for users outside the United States. You can create up to five versions of a plan, compare retirement dates, odds and remaining assets, and export or share the data via CSV or a direct link. Monte Carlo simulations run 500 scenarios using 154 years of Shiller S&P 500 data, and the planner also backtests every market period since 1872. The same functionality is available offline on Android via a full‑screen app with a home‑screen icon. Privacy‑focused, the planner stores data only in local storage and never sells or shares it. It is aimed at people pursuing FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) who want a detailed, private, and free way to test retirement strategies.
