AskMed is an AI medical assistant for healthcare professionals. Ask a clinical question and get a clear answer where every claim links to its source: peer-reviewed journals, clinical guidelines and official drug labels. If no trusted source supports an answer, AskMed says so instead of guessing. It is not a symptom checker. Available on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web in 7 languages. Who it is for AskMed is built for doctors, nurses, medical students, pharmacists and researchers. It is meant for people who already work with medical evidence and want to reach the right source faster. It is a tool for education and reference, not a substitute for clinical supervision or professional judgment. How it works You type a question in plain language, the same way you would ask a colleague. AskMed searches medical literature, clinical guidelines and drug labels, then writes a short, structured explanation. Each statement in the answer carries a citation, so you can open the original paper, guideline or label and read it yourself. Source filters let you narrow down where the answer comes from, and research tools help you go deeper on a topic. Because AI responses and citations can contain errors, AskMed is designed so that checking the source takes one tap. Always check each source's publication date and the latest official guidance, since information may be incomplete or outdated. Why not a general chatbot? General chatbots often give answers without real references, and searching PubMed by hand takes a long time. AskMed combines both: it answers in seconds and shows the evidence behind every claim. Guidelines and drug labels are built in, so there is no need to run separate searches. Guideline coverage is global, not limited to one country. For every specialty AskMed covers questions across internal medicine, family medicine, surgery, pediatrics, OB/GYN, psychiatry, emergency medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, anesthesia, radiology and dermatology. Typical uses Checking a guideline between patients, reviewing a drug interaction before counseling a patient, preparing for journal club, studying for medical exams alongside your usual materials, and looking up evidence during night shifts when there is no one else to ask. Privacy and independence Conversations are encrypted and never sold. AskMed shows no pharma advertising and is built independently, without pharma sponsorship. Pricing and platforms AskMed is a paid subscription, from $24.99/month. It runs on iOS, iPadOS, Android and the web, in 7 languages. If you subscribe in the app, you can cancel with one tap in your Apple subscription settings; on the website, use Manage subscription on your account page. AskMed is made by Loop Studio, founded by Quan Quach.
